Persistance for 2 flutes and piano (2021)
Composer’s note
As part of a grant from the ZAiKS Fund for the Promotion of Creativity, the chamber piece Persistance for two flutes and piano was composed with the following outstanding Polish artists in mind - Łukasz Długosz, Agata Kielar-Długosz, and Andrzej Jungiewicz - who specialize in performing contemporary music. Over the past few months, the composition has been performed several times, including during the 18th Music Education Days organized by the Polish Music Publishing House in Kraków and at a concert marking the 140th anniversary of Karol Szymanowski’s birth at Atma in Zakopane. The piece received its world premiere on October 6, 2021, as part of the “Poznań Chamber Music Concerts” series.
